The Community Fund vs Epoch Funding - what's the diffs? Epoch Funding is the foundation upon which Octant was built. As we're growling, we're experimenting with various forms of funding, like the Community Fund š§Ŗ ššµ Epoch Funding TL;DR Every 90 days, a portion of the accumulated ETH staking rewards is distributed to the community, who can then choose 1 of 3 options: 1. Claim the rewards for themselves 2. Allocate these rewards to the projects within the Epoch. 3. Do both: claim a portion + allocate a portion Once the allocation window closes, Octant matches the allocated community rewards based on the Epoch multiplier. Epoch 5 was 17x š¤© š¤šµ Community Funding TL;DR The Community Fund aims to grow the Octant community with three specific tracks. The Grants Council decides the allocation of funding for the Community Fund. The 3 tracks are: 1) Marketing to increase the reach and awareness of Octant 2) GLM locking initiatives 3) Public goods partner collaborations Qs, pls ask.
