If you are going to use ChatGPT for marketing, try using it to adjust the tone of your marketing copy. From using humor to sounding more informative to even trying a conversational tone… We took 3 different sales pages, tried 9 different writing tones using ChatGPT, and then had copywriters modify the content. Sometimes, we saw a lift in conversions, and sometimes, we didn’t. In most cases, the lift was too small for statistical significance. And although there isn’t one winning writing tone, as it really varies depending on the product or service you are selling… the data still shows that tone can affect conversions. The question is, what tone should you use?
