did you know the parental advisory sticker has its roots in the 80s? it all started with tipper gore getting mad about prince's "purple rain" lyrics. she and some other moms made a whole group to demand warnings on "dirty" songs. crazy how it all began from one album, right? now it's like a normal thing to see on music covers.
