Chromosome 44. Star Dust by Aydin Mustafa Mustafa AYDIN's photograph captures the NGC 1929, an open star cluster within the Large Magellanic Cloud, a satellite galaxy of our Milky Way. NGC 1929 is accompanied by an emission nebula and is situated in the constellation of Dorado, approximately 160,000 light-years away. This specific star cluster and nebula associated with it, visible and photographable from the Southern Hemisphere only, was captured using a powerful 24-inch (61 cm) telescope. @aydinmustafa @marieke @paladinpunks @johannanyqvist @visheh
