out of curiosity. is it bad practice to note take in your commits? kinda like what I do here on warpcast. eg. I'm in the middle of work, I have a thought worth noting, related to the work at hand, I immediately switch to the medium of preference. Can I just do that with my commits? eg. i'm pushing a change and there was some good lessons learned in those changes, i embed those lessons learned in the commit. forgive me for the noob-ish behavior.

Another place to do this is in GitHub pull requests! Great way to refer back on “why the heck was this commit needed in the first place”

i feel like I finally got over the checkout, branch, commit hurdle. I'm not ready for the pull request. I've been doing more of them lately but it still feels janky inside my brain and body.
