A Spatial Art Manifesto Edited slightly for clarity I see Spatial Art as deeply important to the future of digital art. There is no form more impactful or delightful as Spatial (formerly AR/XR/MR) Art.

We have yet to see anyone really nail it. The most interesting work I've been able to discover has nothing to do with web3. People claim to be "AR artists" in web3, but they do little more than separate layers and plop them into Artivive.

Few treat it as a medium. Few understand the opportunities of transcendent communication and artistic connection. Fewer still understand how to unlock the value of this burgeoning medium when the addition of blockchain is introduced.

I see a future where the dominant display of digital art (and primary viewing experience) takes place in "mixed reality", on spatial headsets, glasses, contact lenses, windshields, visors, windows, brain implants, etc. -- anything where the digital realm can be truly brought to light, and seen in the context of reality

There is nothing greater and more impactful than reality. The infinite grain of reality is entirely unmatched. And there is no form of creative expression more limitless than digital art. The combination of these aspects unlocks truly insane artistic potential

Most likely, this involves a platform in the long term. For now, I must content myself with creating tools and techniques to unlock my own artistic potential, so I may one day gift them to others and unlock the true potential of all desiring Spatial Artists.

Spatial Art unlike any other medium prior is nearly conceptually limitless. True Spatial Art includes manipulation of space, visuals, sound, haptic, smell, and narrative (i.e. time) to induce limbic change and unlock a more biologically-potent art-viewing experience And to do all of this while speaking from the soul
