Spent the week understanding how to leverage ARKit on visionOS. Given the lack of support for the simulator it took me a surprising amount of time to build what I wanted.

I have a feeling we're going to see a second wave of more environment aware apps as more devs ramp up on ARKit now that devices are out there.

Surprised at how well the anchoring and environment detection works!

But more surprised at how annoying it is to have to write code, deploy, test in device etc. A bit slower than the simulator for fast iteration.

Ah. Good to know that anchoring and environment detection works. Just playing around with it helped or do you have any good tutorial suggestions? Looking into checking out AR development.
