It is incorrect to think of /zora as an Artist/Creator Tool (even if it technically still is one), like it was in previous years. They are in a different category now. More accurate "comparison" would be something like Lens/Orb.

Zora’s evolution is basically a textbook example of @cdixon.eth’s  “come for the tool, stay for the network”.

The creator tool had a natural onchain network effect with collectors, so we started to build around that emergent network. 

Follow train of thought for ~2 years and you end up with Zora today.
