🔷️Adam Grant, a renowned author and business professor, once said, "If you're considering a career change but worried about taking a step backward, remember this: 🔹️It's better to lose two years of progress than to waste the next twenty." 🔷️This is a very valid point and brings to mind another concept in psychology called the "white elephant." 🔹️White elephants are resources that, due to the sunk costs associated with them, we find it emotionally difficult to let go of, even though they are unproductive and unhelpful. We continue to invest in them and accept the future costs. Are you aware of any white elephants in your own life? How do you deal with them?

Absolutely, it reminds me of the concept of 'sunk cost fallacy' in psychology, where we often continue on a path due to past investments rather than future benefits. 3.94 $RARE
