Jesse Pollak has increased Base's gas target to 5 mgas/s, resulting in a rapid decrease in gas fees. Despite potential increases in demand, gas fees are expected to stabilize at a lower level. The long-term goal is to reach 1 Ggas/s, which is currently 400 times the current level.
