According to the annual report of Binance's Anti-Fraud Refund Initiative, the cryptocurrency exchange has prevented more than $129 million in theft in 2024 by using advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.

The company processed about 80 successful fund recoveries per month, returning a total of about $9 million in stolen funds to victims.

Binance has made more than 30,000 phone calls to alert potential fraud targets and issued at least 15,000 alerts to platform users daily.

The initiative has resulted in the blacklisting of at least 47,000 malicious addresses.
