Buttrfly

Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve been rebuilding @buttrfly from scratch as an expo/next app to bring it to web while sharing the same code/ui as the mobile app.

The alpha version of the web app is now ready! It’s very basic and missing lots of features, but wanted to get this out early to get feedback and add the most requested features first. Once the new app is more mature, the current mobile app will be replaced with the new one.

So please give it a try and let me know what you think. Connecting a signer on Warpcast for Buttrfly is now sponsored so you don’t have to pay any warps or in app purchase to try the app.

@buttrfly is a farcaster client for ios and android. and it's coming to web. 

the first version of the web app is out with all core features including basic support for channels and frames. please try it out and let me know if you have any feedback.

interesting. i do see the gif in your post on the buttrfly web app but not the mobile app or warpcast. 

did you add this gif from your own image library or just from the gif search on buttrfly?

No you don’t have to reinstall. Just go to Buttrfly.app on your desktop browser to use it.

I just added this gif from search on buttrfly fren, do I have to reinstall the web app because it was updated yesterday?
