I've been listening to a lot of Ezra Collective, but haven't heard of any of the others.

The whole Fela discography is just too good, I personally love his live album with Ginger Baker.
I think you'll really like Tony Allen's stuff (Fela's drummer), his work with Villalobos is really something else.
