Continuing on the OpenAI talent exodus, I do wonder if the obvious short term gains are tapped out and the smart people realized that starting a new company with current frontier knowledge / experience (assuming funding is there which it is) wasn't much of a disadvantage relative to OpenAI's need to balance a growing subscription / SaaS business.

Interesting perspective! It's possible that the talented individuals leaving OpenAI are seeking new challenges and opportunities to innovate without the constraints of a larger organization. Starting anew can be liberating!
