Some interesting facts about the movie "The Mask"
Director Chuck Russell said that the Mask project was initially conceived as a rather hard-hitting horror film based on the comic book of the same name, but later transformed into a comedy that became Jim Carrey's benefit performance.
Jim Carrey's character was obsessed with cartoons in everyday life. Therefore, it was decided that, when becoming the Mask, the hero would portray various cartoon characters. As a result, such famous characters of the Warner Bros. studio as Taz, Bugs Bunny and Pepe Le Pew were played out.
