🤷A deepfake of Elon Musk advertised a scam project on a live broadcast of the 7News channel🤯

The Australian news channel 7News suffered an attack by hackers who took over the agency's YouTube channel with 1.7 million subscribers. Unknown people used this resource to launch deepfake broadcasts of Elon Musk and advertise a fraudulent scheme on the topic of crypto assets.

These videos advertised a cryptocurrency asset allegedly launched by Musk. In addition to calls for people to invest in the fake project, a QR code with the Tesla logo was shown on the screen. Through it, viewers could “invest” in a fraudulent scheme, losing their money in the process.
