sometimes its as simple as waiting the extra second to hold the door for someone

I’m finding it to be very true in my life. I never really understood the value of being in service to others until relatively recently. It’s incredibly rewarding. :)

the feeling i'm talking about is more internal

it's not abt seeking external validation or praise

it’s that personal sense of fulfillment when you push yourself and give your best effort, or when you genuinely help someone out

it's abt feeling proud of who you are and what you’ve done, regardless of whether anyone else notices or acknowledges it

thats why i think these are the two times i feel the best abt myself
