My first impression of airchat: this is awesome, I'm over enthusiastic, I can tell. Maybe it's "talking Twitter" but as I listen to these people, I remember how significant a change that is. It's like an asynch podcast generator What do y'all think? https://air.chat/r/lx6t5MPu

Without knowing the details of the deal myself, speaking generally... Helium supplies improved coverage, T-mo supplies audience. De projects can still benefit from home name brands and vice versa. I don't see the point you're making. What am I missing?

FOAM: Like Bitcoin all pieces needed for Proof of Location have been around for a decade, but it has taken the time and effort to get novel radio hardware off the ground. PoL brings BFT, unspoofable and Fraud Proof location claims to smart contracts so they can connect to the physical world in a verified way

If you're interested in token economies, there are some good live online sessions coming up over at Token Engineering Academy https://te-academy.notion.site/Welcome-to-TE-Academy-s-Study-Season-Information-Hub-dde8cebd28344071acffa4cf3d195c01 #tokenomics #cryptoeconomics #TEAcademy

The primary reason most people use social products (and stick around) is their friends are using it. This is why invites and contact upload are core UX to any successful social network. The secondary reason is there is entertaining or interesting content. This is why algorithmic feeds have won. Nothing else matters.

Happy to have started this meetup in Baltimore. Sad that we started it so late.

Spending a little time diving into @foamspace via https://youtu.be/9jUwJVZxsEg (4 years old) to learn about their TCR, and experiences building and using it. However, it looks like they have since launched their Proof of Location radio devices. Have these replaced the TCR?

To be fair, this is in the context of ultra minimal market adoption. I don't believe "onchain" is the thing small businesses, non profits, normal folk are firstly concerned with. Leading with a web3 enabled UVP, and progressive decentralization still make the most sense to me

Aren't you referring to game theory here? A curated group of people has a specific set of values and thus outcomes. Broadening those values changes the outcomes.

“Death of the middle'' is a useful framework for predicting how new technologies will affect markets. The classic example is retail, once dominated by department stores like Sears and Kmart, until the internet drove consumers to two extremes: high-status premium brands and hyperscale internet retailers.
