While talking abt farcaster, had someone respond with: there's a difference between the sustainability of open source projects (e.g. https://joinmastodon.org/sponsors) vs creating something that can be bought/sold and therefore requires an 'exit'" Curious how y'all might think about this @dwr.eth

Every Farcaster user has to pay $7 in ETH to the protocol each year.
