I moderate /sixwordstory and the strength is the low barrier to participation. It's an open channel and good for anyone to cast, especially new FC users. 

I use prompts to encourage participation, but many are casting without prompting. 

Since most casts are limited to six words, my challenge is in promoting longer conversations and more within-cast engagement.

It's not really a channel to visit to catch up on what's posted. I'm thinking on how to improve that.
