My husband's card is with me and tied to my phone, so I had the last word. Naturally I refused and was very scolded at my husband. I believe that his family and our needs should come first.....

I lend a lot of money to people and so does my partner. I think because we have lower bills and some savings, I don't mind lending. But if we didn't have extra, it would be harder to lend money. 😅  I hope your husband doesn't stay upset with you for long. You have to make the right decision for your family. ❤️
