Last year we only had 2 weeks of vacation so we decided to go to Sri Lanka since it is not a very big country. Our first stop was Polonnawura, an ancient city full of temples. To get there we hired a driver because we were very tired after the flight. He was very good because he told us a lot about life in Sri Lanka and while he was explaining everything to us, suddenly an elephant stuck to the road, it was amazing. When we arrived we went to rent some bikes to see all the temples. Of course, riding a bike in these areas is one of the best experiences. As a tip, always bring socks because in the temples you have to take off your shoes and the floor can burn. To be continued...
