a problematic part about crypto today is that a large part of its participants promote values that are a net negative for the world, not better than the fiat cartel: extracting money with essentially useless projects and irrelevant entertainment tokens 1/2

often without having much or any skills that provide value to fellow human beings and society. as long as prices go up, everybody gets sucked in. look beyond your personal profits if you happen to have any. 2/2

I get this way of looking at it. I think this early phase is about stretching limits and testing the tech. There are some serious projects and folks doing good with crypto too. Even some of the memes have given toward good causes.
