I started with a 800W solar kit from Eco-Worthy. It was very easy. +1 to what @ferran said about the inverter. I blew the 1000W one that came with and upgraded. Also, use ample gauge wiring and put everything on non-flammable cement board.

Not 100% sure. I used the wire that came with the original inverter, and I think it had a defect.

That sounds a bit scary… I have an installation on a wood surface too, made with an inverter and cables bought on Aliexpress (and I didn’t check a lot about the quality). 🤞🤞
