It's hard to say.

On the one hand, I agree with @dwr.eth, because trolling and toxicity can alienate subtle and creative individuals, and we can't create and build in such an environment. 

On the other hand, dwr loses a huge layer of audience, cool discussions and provocative personalities.

But if you break it down. The value of a creative community of creators is far greater. These people create.
The value and worth of a small community of creative people will be higher than a large audience of negativity and trolling.

It seems to me that the time has come to raise really important issues, and not engage in shitposting for the sake of filling a useless streak. Share what really inspires you!!!
