Why not use memecoins as a gateway to everything else FC has to offer? It’s not a bad thing if memecoins bring people in, even if they initially come just for that. Farcaster saw its highest activity when there was alpha to be found or a sense of potential gains. Without some kind of hook, it’s hard to attract crypto-natives from Twitter. Instead of seeing it as a negative, we should explore how to make these narratives work for us. It doesn’t have to dominate the culture but we can’t ignore its role in bringing people in. There’s potential to leverage this interest as a gateway to deeper connections and more sustainable engagement. From there, we can show them everything else this community has to offer

Most people don't understand crypto or decentralized fully (maybe) , But the interests of memes and how it rises from an issue among their usual lives is more understandable and fun for them . So yes , memes definitely can bring more people here.
