Why do I want to communicate with a person based on their wallet activity? Is that how people normally behave? I generally don't enjoy talking to people who are also shopping at Zara. I even don't necessarily want to connect with people who are at the same booth at Comic Con.

I hear you. I was mostly impressed with the clean UI and simple UX at the time and thought it would've been used by everyone esp eth folks.

Yeah. It's sleek, I just don't think there's enough of a critical mass in crypto and simultaneously not enough features for non-crypto users to adopt it. It's so hard to beat Discord, I feel. I'd be surprised if any messaging player comes close.

That I’m more skeptical of. Discord is not pleasant experience for me. DMs are all spam. Search is weak. There is room for a trust worthy whatsapp/iMessage crypto alternative imo. Always felt ens should build it.

Yah. I feel you. I also hate it. Spent last night cleaning up all my servers and the UX is still crap. But despite that, no one has been able to carve away much user base and few projects actually jump ship. It’s too easy to stay.
