Hemi is a modular L2 protocol for scaling, security, and interoperability running on Bitcoin and Ethereum. The project was founded by early Bitcoin developer Jeff Garzik and security expert Side Max Sanchez. On September 18, the project closed a $15 million seed round with participation from Binance (the only tier-1 fund), Big Brain Holdings, Alchemy, Quantstamp, and others. The project's Twitter feed includes Sushi Swap, Binance Labs, and representatives from Sfermion.
