Ethereum needs to embrace the app layer a lot more. User and dev stickiness will be at the app layer in the long run. Core dev and scaling is of course vital but it's all a build up for apps.

Allow stablecoin legislation so new payment methods can compete. It's 2025 - Americans should be able to pay for things without a 3% monopoly tax.

2025 is the year we dream bigger as an industry. We need to stop fighting over the very small pie of onchain users that we currently have and collectively work to bring many more people onchain. Build more apps, improve existing apps, and create more magical user experiences.

There was a concern that 'The Merge' wouldn't be be delivered as it was too complex and miners would just play games and "stall" the transition. Reality: The Merge happened flawlessly on September 15th, 2022 thanks to a novel mechanism called Terminal Total Difficulty (TTD).

No way I can say this without pissing people off. But here goes. While the GOP/Maga is the exact opposite of my values beliefs and priorities, the Democratic Party doesn't represent them either. From the Iraq War to Gaza, fighting against Medicare For All & doing shit on housing.

L1 does not need to be as fast as Solana to be competitive. It just shouldn't be so slow as to push users away. TPS are not the main metric on which chains compete.

A few months ago we had a call with our financial advisor(s), and they suggested we sell 25-75% of our crypto holdings at the time (june/july ish) Happy to say that I mostly ignored them (did sell like 5-10%) We have a follow up call in 2 minutes.

Posting this again - I think it's important that we retain "solo staker" as the definition of a node operator who validates without anything between them and the Beacon Chain contract. It is the most "solo" way of staking
