I don’t get all complaining about Twitter moving to a subscription model. Assume it’s mostly Elon bad, so new thing Elon does is bad.

The product will improve if the default experience is you only see subscribers.

it’s the easiest thing to get when you think about twitter as an identity reinforcement protocol, of which twitter supersizes 

elon eroded trust, behaves in a non-principled way to game systems so it feels as tho you are handing him the monthly subscription cost, not the company itself.
