The journey to AGI is pretty complicated and relies on breakthroughs in different areas like reasoning, adaptability, and self-learning. Even though current AI models are really impressive, they still need a lot of human-designed training and aren't truly autonomous. The next big leap will probably come from advancements in self-improving AI models that can learn and grow on their own without much human help.
