As an athlete who began a cycle of nonstop injuries later in my sports career, definitely never get injured 😭

I used to be a states qualifying swimmer, then my chronic condition resulted in a series of shoulder injuries that took me to the bottom of the pack. Now I can't do backstroke without screaming.

Literally reoccurring injuries are just detrimental especially to your mental 😤 don't even get me started if you're also a competitive athlete. Just shit you can't control yk, do hope you've found some peace with what led you up to be in such high place 🙏🏽 33 $DEGEN

And I'm trying to come to terms with my body problems, take better care of myself. I used to eat like crap when I was a swimmer, and had a toxic relationship with exercise and personal vanity.

But yeah my condition gave me a lot of the same advantages that Phelps had but without the weird lactic acid mutation. Really long wingspan(5'11" vs my 5'6" height) and decent power. It also meant I was stuck together with bubble gum and duct tape.
