"One of my first memories in Photoshop was experimenting with the threshold tool, in which all pixels become either black or white, and the user chooses a threshold level to help determine how each pixel is colored. It's a beautifully simple way to analyze a composition, and almost always satisfyingly crisp. For this 'Scribble Together' palette - a sort of threshold is applied as the only possible colors for both paper and pen are black or white."
