It's interesting working in both AI and web3 in 2024. AI is exciting, hyped, and very volatile. Who knows if their company will make it to 5pm. In web3, although crypto remains volatile, it's very stable and chugging along. People are building. The hype is dead and the builders aren't going away for anything.

The hype will be back in crypto > Grifters will come back >Builders will go quiet but continue building > Hype will then die down because things take time > grifters will leave >... it's the natural cycle :) Works for AI as well btw. I remember when Deepmind was supposed to eat everyone's lunch...
