Can we decouple from China fast enough to deal with the economic shortfall of China imploding? Or is it too late and we are going to dive along with them? And if we do, who will fare worse, Europe or America? And how will the rest of the world fare? Are we in for a global depression if China doesn't get its shit tgther

The US has been decoupling from China, though China is a big percentage of the world economy and so a lot of companies' earnings will be affected by China's economy. I think the American economy will do well over the long run. I don't think it is going to be a global depression.

The US can only focus on itself, and I think the path for the future is through innovation through the creation of companies like Tesla, X, Meta, Amazon, Illumina, Coinbase and so on

Within this context, do you believe the latest rounds of AI reports like from McKinsey etc, which say that AI will add $X trillion to the US and global economy are believable? Do you think this will mainly manifest in corporate equity or will also be visible in the lives of average people?
