I’m bearish on OpenAI without an Apple deal.

I think Google provides deep integration into their ecosystem that ChatGPT can’t do even with Microsoft, especially with Microsoft hedging. Apple provides an opportunity for OpenAI to access the level of userbase that Google could have over night via Android, Search & YouTube.

There aren’t a lot of platforms out there that OpenAI could integrate with. Apple also has the cash to pay for compute so it might be a good marriage, I’m just not sure who benefits and how.
