Sending people money is one of the best ways to support ppl Other mechanisms that have been meaningful for me personally on Farcaster - $degen /degen tips especially my /microsub tippers recently! - /hypersub really the foundation of so much for me. Not only capital but network too. Not “over” but paused for now until I bring the Stu to the next stage. - investment - from entities like /degendao - grants @base @jacek @purple - promotion @gmfarcaster, @pauline-unik /los-fomos @nonlinear.eth @jackwyldes.eth, even just sharing an idea or a mini essay like /skininthegame did early - patronage. people like @wake and @purp and @shiiiiison.eth and @jpfraneto.eth and @coopahtroopa.eth and @saxenasaheb taking long term bets on me without real expectation of specific return, but with genuine hope for my growth. Financially, as friends, professionally so valuable - people I look up to treated me with respect, like I was a peer not a hanger on @jpren.eth @ted @yekim.eth @androidsixteen.eth @grin @luc 1/2

If I'm trying to raise $1K, what's the best way to go about doing that as a non-techinical non-builder with a small following?

Clarifying your messaging What are you raising the funds for and why are you a good person to accomplish this goal? I could send you $1k rn, but why? Answer that, and I can advise tools - it’ll probably be Hypersub but in some cases it could be Zora or Degen. Once you know better what you want it could be clanker too

Honestly, it's more a personal thing for me, a struggle of sorts, and it's hard to be vulnerable in that way I, effectively, was trying to raise enough fee to offset rent payment for this month I managed to raise $5 by posting this clanker: https://www.clanker.world/clanker/0x062De34AC30385f4dd8c77e45bdA480a983055B2 I ended deleting the original post because I felt embarrassed... but yea

I don't think that we can ask for help without sharing our private struggles. or it'll be much harder. people donate because they care, and when they trust both of these things require building relationships over time and being vulnerable about things you maybe feel shame or sensitive about. I hope you can find the space to open up and receive the support you deserve from those you connect with
