The Last Supper is a rectangular mural in the dining hall of the Santa Maria del Grizia monastery in Milan, depicting the scene of the Last Supper of Christ and the 12 apostles before the crucifixion. Da Vinci did not use modern wall painting methods to paint this work and instead used oil paint.
