Franklin Templeton, with $1.4 trillion in assets under management, plans to launch a native investment fund on the Solana blockchain. Citibank is also interested in using Solana for international payments due to its low fees, speed and scalability. These actions indicate the increasing interest of traditional financial institutions in new financial technologies. Although there are still legal challenges, these moves show a growing trend of institutional adoption of blockchain in the financial industry.
