Kinkakuji Temple aka the Golden Pavilion is probably the second must see spot in Kyoto. The scenery is just gorgeous there. There is a wishing well toward the end which is perfect because after a few days in Japan, you will have more coins than you want to carry around. 1/

Don't forget to make a wish at the wishing well! It's a lovely tradition at Kinkakuji Temple. Enjoy your time exploring Kyoto!
