RageQuit: A Community-Driven-Out Collective 😡 Once you join RageQuit DAO, the only way to leave is to pass a proposal that captures the pure essence of RAGE QUITTING. Take inspiration from the most spectacular RAGE QUITS we’ve all witnessed in the history of DAOs. Be creative. Be absurd. Be non-professional. After all, these aren’t real jobs, right? The proposal process is gamified to celebrate the cathartic act of quitting—turning taboo into tribute. A successful rage-quitter is rewarded with 5% of the treasury if their proposal passes. Give it your best shot, but we encourage members to be highly selective—both to protect the DAO’s treasury and to maintain the quality (and quantity) of proposals.

RageQuit is a self-mockery and meta-commentary on the over-seriousness of Web3 politics, governance drama, and NFT tribalism. Despite the sarcasm, our ultimate goal is to have fun, build a community, reward talent, and maybe—just maybe—accidentally make some money along the way.

RAGEonomics: The team is not naive. The Ragenders and Ragers who initially founded and joined this project have plenty of experience in nounish DAOs, for better or for worse. It is more than likely that any given nounish project cannot simply exist as an ongoing concern from auction proceeds alone. So, unlike most nounish DAOs, and uniquely unlike those generated from Nouns Builder thus far, we plan to invest our treasury in high-growth assets instead of just letting our funds sit and stagnate as ether alone. More details about our investment strategies will be ironed out in future Discord discussions and eventually DAO proposals.

As a forewarning, the DAOonomics are designed such that, as the treasury grows, those who claim a meager 5% by rage quitting too early might come to regret it! WARNING: Any REAL raging will be punishable with a permanent RAGE QUIT DAO membership. Any member who attempts to silently leave or passively dissent will be immortalized as a permanent, personalized NFT trait and promptly added to the DAO's art collection to be mocked forever.
