Heartbreaking but with allot of truth . 

I've learned through experience that true happiness comes from within, and I am responsible for creating my own joy. On the days when I feel down, I make an effort to spread even more sunshine to others.

To be fair I do think with my heart and it seems you think with your head . 

Yet , I feel you do have a soft side to you.

My response to encroaching cynicism is "moar stoicism." Marcus Aurelius was awesome. Seneca too. They're the key to what sanity I have left.
