So like… I was trying to be open minded about the new /zora contracts… but it’s just not making sense to me. After 200 mints a 24hr countdown begins to close the mint. But mint fees are only .30cents now.. so 111 mints is like minting 11 before.. So I mint 111 and a friend mints 111 and now it closes in 24 hrs? FML… make that make sense please. And if not, what platform am I pivoting to? Artistprogram was kinda F’d by this update also… proves once again to me you can’t rely on anyone’s tech for your own projects. Which is sad.

I don’t think you should feel stuck. It’s good to experiment with different platforms and my feelings have changed as far as the need to have everything always organized into specific 1155 collections. In the future, maybe deploying ENS addresses ARE the collections, and creators (/ creator partners like /yellow and /artistprogram) can choose to mint each edition on a platform that makes the most sense. For example, we are dropping our monthly Based & Yellow Artist Edition this month on @coinbasewallet despite the fact that the rest of that collection lives on zora as an 1155. If we’re not here to experiment, what are we here for?

Yea, i agree.. i def find myself being resistant to change, which is why i've tried to keep an open mind here and acknowledge my stubbornness.. Biggest issue for me was the forced upgrade as we try to mint a concise collection of 100 artists x 100 pieces of cc0 art. Pipe and I minted 111 of these books bc "hey they're cheap AF now!" and now the mint closes in 6 hours 😩 .. I kinda didnt realize that would happen, LOL: So please mint & share @toadyhawk.eth haha! <3 https://zora.co/collect/base:0x7d958776cb5355bfe7737b55ae1cf8a5af2ab8be/92 End of day i love zora platform and the experimentation. It's one of my go-to places for exploring art and finding new artists. Many of the people I reached out to for AP came from Zora.
