@sloppy how much of an influence was Nouns Fest (& Short Shorts) to you becoming obsessed with Nouns (like us) and going full Nounish?

Fair. This was just an example of the impact as @mikegood asked about animator impact. Lots of animators shared stories about how impactful this was for them but @sloppy is a great example of diving into the community head first. I think as more tools/platforms become mainstream, like rodeo, and artists start to flock to them we will see the fruits of our labor sprouting more and more.

tbf, @sloppy got his noun before Nouns Fest, right? He's also web3 native, leans into cc0 content, has his own collection, and involved in Rounds on a daily basis... I think we need to see more folks coming in/attracted to nouns through nouns fest, that hadnt been exposed before. Would love to see @sloppy run a round for these artists where they actually have to onboard to warpcast to participate... showing a 'bit' of skin in the game, re; web3 and onchain values / a little push to get involved in nouns after, even tho i know thats not required. Would love to get some answers on the other questions I had also, and a lot of nouncil seemed to have the same questions. Overall, love the animations and funding artists... like all-in on that part of the prop.. Just not sure about the funding distribution, number of artists, and previous impact for what we've funded up until now to justify continuing at this level.. Looking forward to hearing more about all my concerns from you guys.

Hey Mike! A LOT of people in the animators rounds I've on boarded through twitch and other web2 socials. And when they saw Nounsfest on our stream they were completely into the nouniverse. Honestly the two biggest issues with on boarding web2 people have been the steep learning curve into base and Farc. -What is Crypto -What's a wallet -What's ETH -What's an L2 -What's base -What's Farcaster etc etc So there's way too many layers right now for a person that just wants to participate in a round. The second one is web safety, as many of the people I have on boarded to the rounds and web3 have been victims of scams and drainers as they get a ton of DMs about job opportunities and open links which is a normal thing to do in web2. So a lot of people have been attracted by nounsfest but been pushed away from the idea of participating into rounds because of all my previous statements.
