started programming in middle school with VB4. strong memory of laying awake, obsessed with HOW a computer could create a random number. obsessed and disturbed. it was a formative strain later my mentor said, "well, the CPU clock is so darn fast, the smallest numbers really are random." quantum probabilities similar?

what if tiny things are so incredible small relative to us, that the time they exist in is "way too fast" for our cosmic time. we're too "slow" to ever capture the full detail of a "moment in the microcosm" and that's why probabilities are the only way. can two cosmic scales be too different, time-wise, to measure?
