the illegal dispensaries have been getting raided by police

many of the ones that are left have pulled all their inventory from their shelves / windows to decrease police attention 

these existed bc city/state took extremely long time getting cannabis licensing framework operational

first actually legal weed store only opening in williamsburg now even tho legal for years

What happened with those dispensers, why did they pop up?
