Who inspired your moral compass? Can a fictional character leave a lasting impact?

For me, Captain Picard was more than just a character. He shaped my moral compass as a child. Star Trek TNG's graphics weren't cutting-edge but the morally challenging scenarios Picard faced helped me navigate right, wrong, and gray areas of humanity. He illuminated what it truly means to be human.

Yeah that man had to make really difficult decisions! watching as a child while he made choices and the logic behind them influenced me a lot. None of the other star treks came close yet.

Gm! Gosh I love this. So i say I'm not a Star Trek fan, but I'm fairly certain I've seen all the movies and every episode of TNG, and many random episodes of other shows.

Saying all that, Picard is definitely a good point of reference for morality.

Gandalf from The Lord of the Rings also left a significant mark on my moral compass. His wisdom, courage, and sense of justice resonate deeply. He taught me about the importance of standing for what's right, even when it's tough.
