I’m in a race against time to recover the $600 of degen tipped to me that was airdropped to my coinbase smart wallet on degen chain before the end of the month deadline 🫠

What's the issue? A friend only has a CB smart wallet too and was able to claim without issue. I think using proxyswap to unwrap and then the official bridge to send to L2

If your friend was able to get around this I would love to chat with them

All she did was enter degen.tips via the internal browser of the CB smart wallet. I wonder if your or her wallet are configured differently (if that's even a thing)

Huh how do I differentiate between both? all this time I thought that was the CB SW. The app icon with a circle and a square not the one with the "C"

“Smart wallets” are a new kind that work without seed phrases (use passkeys instead) but they’re bound to a domain so it makes their interoperability harder. They exist as in a smart contract not on your device as an app With these new smart wallets developers can offer a wallet in browser to their dapp users without requiring the user to install any app at all. Then you just store their smart wallet linked to a passkey stored on their device But since this is all very new a Lot of edge cases arent possible yet Like degen chain claims https://www.coingecko.com/learn/what-are-smart-wallets-crypto
