the more we lock the lower the allowance becomes for most that can't afford to lock a lot, how is that beneficial??

Don’t we usually consider locked tokens to help number go up? More locked offsets coming unlocks?

The main point of this is locking as much supply as possible; this is by design. 

Tipping like this is ideal and a welcome shake up to the old model.
