I need to set up a paywall on my instance to open it up to the public

I also want to make it easier to run yourself. Might fund a bounty for this

There is also a different direction that involves turning it into fully client-side application (no servers). Would like to explore this but that’s an entire project on its own

great to hear. I know the motivation for FC clients is in general pretty low but it's always good to have some options.
